We describe research activities in the Photonic Systems Group located in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McGill University. We are working on several different topics: optoelectronics, burst mode receivers, and agile optical networks; photonic crystals and plasmonic devices; ultrafast photonics and fiber optics; and all optical processing
