Abstract
Cet article interroge la différence enfant/adulte, une des questions centrales de la problématique éducative contemporaine. Sa mise en question est particulièrement vive là où l’adulte est un artiste, quand la relation avec l’enfant se développe sur le terrain de l’art et de l’esthétique. C’est pourquoi les résidences artistiques auprès d’enfants peuvent être étudiées comme des lieux où s’expérimente une nouvelle relation à l’enfance. La méthodologie qualitative adoptée met en valeur les points de vue d’artistes recueillis à partir d’entretiens individuels et collectifs. L’analyse montre que sous le signe de l’art, de la création partagée, selon les artistes eux-mêmes, la différence enfant/adulte s’efface, au profit d’une égalité dans la différence, dont les diverses déclinaisons sont présentées et discutées au terme de l’article.
