Abstract
Cet article étudie les représentations de l'intégration des composantes des programmes de formation initiale à l'enseignement de l'Ontario. Il analyse également les objectifs et les moyens mis en place pour favoriser cette intégration. Il décrit ces nouveaux programmes et discute les résultats d'entrevues effectuées auprès de leurs administrateurs. L'étude révèle que tous les projets ont visé une meilleure intégration des apprentissages chez les étudiants-maîtres et une meilleure intégration des matières dans les écoles. Toutefois, les moyens mis en oeuvre ont varié, allant d'un modèle interdisciplinaire à un modèle fragmenté. Il s'en dégage aussi que la démarche suivie dans l'élaboration de ces nouveaux programmes a été de nature plutôt pragmatique et qu'elle s'est réalisée aux plans didactique et pédagogique, à l'exclusion du plan curriculaire.
