Abstract
L'identification des besoins sexuels d'un groupe d'hommes homosexuels séropositifs a été réalisée en deux étapes : une entrevue avec 30 hommes visant à définir leurs objectifs de santé sexuelle, suivie d'un questionnaire administré à 88 hommes séropositifs et à 173 hommes séronégatifs qui ont évalué ces objectifs. Les analyses statistiques des données recueillies ont permis d'identifier et de circonscrire quatre besoins prioritaires : être en bonne santé, être amoureux, être sexuel et, à un degré moindre, être sécuritaire. La discussion des résultats met en relief le rôle joué par l’inconfort biologique, psychologique et sociologique dans le contexte des difficultés des hommes homosexuels séropositifs à combler leurs besoins sexuels. Le contenu de cette évaluation peut être utile pour la planification et l'implantation de services sexologiques destinés aux personnes séropositives.
