Correlating uncertainties of a lithium-ion battery - A Monte Carlo simulation
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Safety issues raised from a lithium-ion battery during operation can be attributed to the variation of its temperature, which is, in turn, associated with the uncertainties in the parameters such as material properties and operating conditions. In this study, a Monte Carlo simulation of a mechanistic lithium-ion battery model is conducted to capture the probabilistic nature of uncertainties in the parameters and their relative importance to the temperature of a lithium-ion battery cell. Sensitivity analysis is statistically performed, and the varied parameters are ranked according to their contributions to the variation of the battery temperature. Statistical analysis is also conducted on the distribution of the temperature and deviation from its normality has been identified. These analyses can provide valuable information for manufactures in the area of resource partitioning for quality and safety control. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
