Abstract
Parmi les trois procédés par lesquels les langues marquent les interrogatives, deux concernent les mots ou les signes (particules interrogatives et ordre des constituants) et un se superpose aux mots ou aux signes (intonation/comportement non manuel). Des recherches sur les langues signées ont déjà montré que ni les particules interrogatives ni l’ordre des constituants n’étaient suffisants dans la formation des interrogatives. Seul un comportement non manuel spécifique permet de distinguer les interrogatives des déclaratives correspondantes. Ce comportement non manuel est basé sur des mouvements de la tête et des sourcils et la direction du regard. Nous montrons dans cet article que les mouvements de tête permettent de distinguer les interrogatives fermées des interrogatives ouvertes en langue des signes québécoise (LSQ).
