Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Leaky surface acoustic wave velocity (V/sub LSAW/) and attenuation profiles across the diameters of cladded glass fibers or fiber preforms are presented. Optical fibers with different dopants, such as GeO/sub 2/, F, B/sub 2/O/sub 3/, etc., and dopant concentrations have been investigated. The role of acoustic profiles across the core and cladding regions in the design of optical fibers for several device applications is outlined. By comparing V/sub LSAW/ profiles with the corresponding optical refractive index profile, n, the relation between Delta V/sub LSAW//V/sub LSAW/ and Delta n/n is obtained for several dopants. Potential applications of cylindrical glass rods with graded acoustic-velocity profiles are also discussed.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
