Abstract
Le Canada et la Russie ont beaucoup de préoccupations communes dans la résolution des problèmes de la gestion des passages du Nord-Ouest et du Nord-Est. Ces intérêts communs concernent également la gestion des territoires arctiques y compris la question de la répartition imminente du fonds de l’Océan Arctique. On sait que la Russie et le Canada occupent une situation géographique dominante dans l’Arctique. Les trois quarts du littoral de l’Océan Arctique appartiennent à ces deux pays qui ont la plus grande dimension territoriale dans le monde. Ce thème est extrêmement intéressant parce qu’il ouvre des perspectives à des recherches immédiates mais aussi à des recherches futures incluant les questions du développement de la politique internationale et de la politique de la sécurité au XXIème siècle.
