Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This chapter focuses on a variety of differently sized phosphorus-containing rings that are incorporated in arene systems to give a representative overview of a rapidly growing field. Phosphole-based materials can be considered the most mature species, as evidenced by numerous publications to date that focus on the incorporation of this building block into heteroarene species. Almost all important types of practical applications in organic electronics have been realized with phospholes at least at the proof-of-principle stage-owing to the strongly emissive nature of many of the target materials, or their often pronounced electron-acceptor character. Several research groups worldwide are now expanding the horizon of phosphorus-containing heteroarenes beyond simple five-membered cyclic phospholes, and a considerable amount of work has recently been reported dealing with either more sophisticated phosphole-based materials or materials that exhibit new structural elements, as representatively highlighted in the chapter by the six- and seven-membered ring systems.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
