<titre>Résumé</titre>La combinaison de l’analyse intensive quantitative à celle de l’analyse qualitative possède un potentiel qui surpasse leur utilisation exclusive. Sa pratique est nécessaire à l’avancement de l’étude du processus psychothérapeutique. Les auteurs proposent un modèle pluraliste et cyclique composé de l’analyse intensive quantitative et qualitative organisé autour de quatre principes: 1. l’empirisme; 2. le contexte; 3. la dialectique du qualitatif et du quantitatif; et 4. le jeu de la figure et du fond. Les épistémologies empiriste et constructiviste-herméneutique se réunissent ainsi au sein d’un même protocole.
