Abstract
Cet article aborde la question de la rémunération des personnes qui prennent soin d’un proche ayant des incapacités. Il est organisé autour d’une série de recadrages théoriques et de prémisses qui évitent le piège de la dichotomisation traditionnelle entre le privé et le public, entre l’espace de la famille et l’espace de la culture. En proposant les soins comme un droit de citoyenneté, il offre une tierce voie de réflexion qui permet d’entrevoir et de permettre la tenue d’un débat de société sur cette question déterminante pour la situation des femmes 1 .
