Abstract
Cet article porte sur la mise en place d’une formation pédagogique continue, non obligatoire pour les enseignants, dans les universités françaises. Dans la première partie, nous présentons les questions soulevées par la prise en compte de l’activité d’enseignement dans la carrière d’un universitaire français. Dans la seconde partie, nous posons la question de l’appropriation d’un savoir pédagogique construit de manière empirique, sans formation théorique initiale. À partir d’une analyse chiffrée des demandes de formation pédagogique des enseignants, nous présentons les conditions de réalisation d’une formation pédagogique continue pour les enseignants du supérieur.
