Les Deux MondesAbolir les frontières C ontrairement à ce qu'on entend parfois dire, il ne suffit pas d'avoir de « bons contacts » pour tourner à l'étranger.Ni simplement de le vouloir.Ainsi, la dimension internationale de la diffusion des spectacles des Deux Mondes n'est pas l'aboutissement d'un plan d'affaires que notre compagnie théâtrale aurait conçu, au moment de sa fondation, il y a vingt-sept ans 1 ; elle résulte d'une réflexion en constante évolution, menée par ses codirecteurs, au cours des ans et au gré des circonstances.Dès sa naissance, la compagnie affiche une orientation résolument expérimentale, sous forme de courtes pièces en totale rupture avec la dramaturgie destinée aux enfants, qu'elle estime paternaliste et sucrée.Ce premier spectacle est le résultat d'une animation parrainée par le Centre d'essai des auteurs dramatiques (CEAD), et menée par Monique Rioux auprès d'enfants issus de milieux socio-économiques différents, avec la collaboration d'auteurs et de comédiens-animateurs 2 .À l'époque, les visées de la compagnie étaient d'ex-1.La compagnie a été fondée le 28 janvier 1973, sous le nom de Théâtre de la Marmaille.
