Abstract
Des stages de sport pour les allocataires du RMI sont financés par des collectivités dans le cadre de leurs politiques d’insertion. Partant des textes qui présentent ces stages, d’une observation participante et de 22 entretiens semi-directifs avec des stagiaires 1 , l’article interroge cette convocation du sport dans le rapport d’assistance. L’analyse montre que le sport se présente comme un dispositif intégrant la logique des politiques d’activation qui visent à responsabiliser l’individu. Plus précisément, l’activation corporelle vise à contrer le laisser-aller perçu chez les allocataires : il s’agit de redevenir employable corporellement en devenant responsable de soi et de son corps.
