A new model for the saturated synchronous machines using the intermediate-axis saturation characteristics
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The effect of saturation in synchronous machines is usually represented in their two-axis frame models by using their saturated d- and q-axis synchronous reactances. These saturated d- and q-axis synchronous reactances are obtained by modifying their unsaturated values with appropriate saturation factors corresponding to the voltage behind the leakage reactance. In practice, this technique fails to give good agreement to the measured values due to the fact that the cross-magnetizing effect (magnetic coupling between the direct and quadrature axes) is ignored In this paper, an innovative model for the saturated synchronous machines using the intermediate-axis saturation characteristics is proposed and, thus, the cross-magnetizing effect will be included explicitly. To verify the accuracy of this proposed approach, experimental investigations were carried out on a number of laboratory synchronous machines of different designs. The calculated field currents and load angles of these machines by the proposed approach have been compared with the measured ones.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
