Abstract
Dans différents champs de la vie sociale, les chercheurs s’accordent à constater la désinstitutionalisation comme caractéristique première du changement à l’oeuvre. Pour vérifier la réalité de cette tendance dans le domaine des relations professionnelles, les auteurs analysent les processus de reconfiguration engagés à partir des années 1980 à trois niveaux de la régulation de la relation de travail : l’entreprise, la branche et le territoire local. Au départ, ces trois terrains présentent une grande variété de degré d’enracinement des institutions des relations professionnelles, qu’il soit particulièrement prononcé à La Poste, absent dans le secteur de la course urbaine et inégal sur le site de Saint-Nazaire. Par la suite, l’étude des logiques d’acteurs donne à voir des mouvements de reconfiguration qui invitent plutôt à conclure à une évolution convergente vers une institutionnalisation ou réinstitutionnalisation des systèmes de relations professionnelles, évolution dans laquelle l’État joue un rôle structurant.
