Abstract
L’article se donne pour but d’analyser la sociologie de l’économie chez P. Bourdieu. Celle-ci consiste en une critique de l’économie néoclassique fondée sur de nombreux travaux empiriques. Dans ses travaux sur l’économie kabyle, il est possible de trouver la genèse des concepts d’habitus et de capital symbolique et de vérifier leur pertinence pour analyser l’économie capitaliste. Dans ses travaux s’affirment une pensée relationnelle et le concept de champ où se confrontent les agents qui, loin d’être interchangeables, se meuvent dans un espace socialement construit et, dotés de ressources différentes, interagissent pour transformer ou conserver le rapport de forces en vigueur. S’opposant à une rationalité économique universelle qui s’inscrit dans la nature humaine, l’historicité de l’économie est au premier plan et l’histoire du processus de différenciation aboutit à la constitution d’un jeu spécifique : le champ économique obéissant à ses propres lois. Enfin, loin de se cantonner dans des secteurs marginaux de l’économie, le symbolique est au cœur de l’économie.
