Abstract
Cet article propose une analyse de l’imbrication des rapports sociaux de sexe, de race et de classe tels qu’ils se manifestent dans une association suisse non mixte ayant pour objectif de soutenir l’intégration des femmes migrantes. L’analyse proposée montre, d’une part, comment la catégorie de femmes migrantes est produite à l’intersection des rapports sociaux de sexe, de race et de classe et s’oppose à une figure pseudo générique de femmes émancipées et modernes; et, d’autre part, comment cette production rend légitime l’intervention sociale spécialisée.
