Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract In the present study we measured the immersed vertical cylinder surface‐to‐slurry heat transfer coefficient in the liquid‐solid and gas‐slurry (three‐phase) transport beds at controlled solid concentrations. The slurry contained 0.1 mm inert glass beads and the solid fraction in the slurry was varied from 0% to 10% by volume. The liquid viscosity was widely varied by using water and a 1.0wt% aqueous CMC solution. A unified dimensionless equation for the heat transfer coefficient with a coefficient of variation of 14.9% was successfully formulated in terms of the Nusselt number, the Prandtl number and the specific power group including the energy dissipation rate per unit mass of slurry in both transport bed systems. The presence of a good analogy was ascertained between the heat transfer and mass transfer on the vertical cylinder.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
