Abstract
On propose ici une mise en perspective critique de la théorie de la réception (Hans Robert Jauss, Wolfgang Iser). L’exposé rappelle d’abord le statut qu’a le texte littéraire dans cette théorie puis insiste sur la notion de non-détermination qui est peut-être l’élément clé de la théorie de la réception et la contribution la plus importante d’Iser jusqu’à présent. Enfin, on résume la conception que se font les théoriciens de la réception de l’institution littéraire (évaluation/canonisation).
