Abstract
Cet article présente une étude pilote sur l’impact des jeux comme outils d’intervention (méta)cognitive. Deux études de cas avec des adolescents ayant une déficience intellectuelle modérée à sévère sont présentées. L’entraînement (jeux et tâches de transfert) vise des processus (méta)cognitifs et des stratégies de résolution. L’analyse s’appuie, d’une part, sur les résultats provenant de différents instruments évaluant l’induction, l’attention, la structuration visuelle et des compétences scolaires. D’autre part, elle est basée sur des données procédurales obtenues durant les séances d’entraînement et de test, ainsi qu’en classe. Les élèves ont progressé au niveau procédural et au niveau de la performance. Ils ont maintenu leurs progrès huit semaines après l’entraînement et un des deux élèves a transféré les apprentissages en classe. Ces résultats permettent une première validation des jeux en tant qu’outils d’intervention (méta)cognitive.
