Abstract
Comment s’y prendre pour retrouver les personnes qui ont participé à un mouvement social faiblement organisé il y a plusieurs décennies, lorsque l’enjeu de la recherche consiste à ne pas retrouver seulement celles qui étaient les plus visibles ou qui sont encore engagées ? A partir d’une enquête sur le mouvement féministe des années 1970, cet article présente les techniques mises en œuvre pour construire et recruter la population enquêtée, les enjeux soulevés par cette démarche et propose une réflexion plus générale sur l’articulation de différents modes de recueil de données.
