Abstract
Cette étude examine les relations entre les styles d'autoportrait, l'autoévaluation des compétences et l'évaluation de l'adaptation scolaire par les pairs et l'enseignant. L'étude porte sur 81 enfants scolarisés dans un établissement d'enseignement primaire de Toulouse. Trois styles d'autoportrait ressortent : les autoportraits élaboré, expressif et minimaliste. Les deux premiers ne semblent pas associés à des problèmes d'adaptation, mais les enfants liés au style minimaliste manifestent un faible score sur l'autoévaluation des compétences sociales et scolaires, et une faible estime de soi. Les professeurs les perçoivent comme plus dérangeants et les pairs les évaluent comme affichant davantage de comportements antisociaux. Le fait qu'une autoévaluation négative soit associée à un autoportrait minimaliste et aux attributions de comportements antisociaux suggère que ces enfants éprouveraient éventuellement des difficultés d'adaptation scolaire.
