Le présent article analyse le plan inédit de la Cité-jardin de Villeray situé dans le Domaine Saint-Sulpice à Montréal dressé par l’architecte et urbaniste français Jacques Gréber en juillet 1935. Ce plan, découvert par le professeur David L. A. Gordon, précéderait ainsi de quelques années la Cité-jardin du tricentenaire à Montréal considérée comme la première réalisation marquante en ce domaine au Québec, Le projet de Gréber, probablement commandé par la Société immobilière Chomedey Ltée ne sera pas réalisé. Toutefois, il établit un nouveau jalon dans la connaissance des œuvres de Gréber et modifie la chronologie généralement admise de ses travaux au Canada. Varticle se veut une modeste contribution à la reconnaissance d’une œuvre immense qui attend encore son catalogue raisonné.
