Cet article présente un récit d’une situation éducative qui illustre une nouvelle pratique pour l’enseignement de l’approche systémique familiale en science infirmière. Ce récit provient d’une étude ayant pour but de mieux comprendre les composants de l’enseignement qui facilitent la transformation des conceptions du soin à la famille chez des étudiantes bachelières en science infirmière. À l’aide de la recherche-action et de l’analyse réflexive, une nouvelle pratique éducative de nature systémique a été construite afin d’amener les étudiantes à considérer la « personne-famille en tant qu’unité » plutôt que la personne dans un contexte familial. Les principaux résultats montrent que la professeure est présente autrement et qu’elle utilise des stratégies novatrices, telles que la narration, l’autodialogue, l’écriture et la réflexion critique du compte-rendu intégral de l’entrevue, l’élaboration de scénarios, apprendre à se taire et à écouter avec le cœur pour mieux identifier les concepts prioritaires guidant le soin. Plusieurs entrevues ont été effectuées auprès de six étudiantes et de six familles. La méthode « narration dialoguée » a été utilisée afin de mettre en évidence le sens du cheminement de chacune des entrevues. Cet article présente le récit d’une des six situations éducatives incluant la manière dont la professeure accompagne l’étudiante ainsi que son analyse et interprétation.
