Abstract
Jusque vers 1950, Chypre fut un modèle de coexistence culturelle entre deux communautés ethniques. La décolonisation constitua le prologue de la partition ethnique entre hellénophones et turcophones. Après l'indépendance, des enclaves turques se mirent graduellement en place. L'invasion par la Turquie en 1974 eut pour effet d'engendrer un exode massif des populations sur une base ethnique et l'existence de deux zones monoethniques de part et d'autre de la ligne de cessez-le-feu. Au Sud de cette ligne, la république légale jouit d'une économie très prospère. Au Nord, la RTCN (République turque de Chypre du Nord) représente l'archétype de l'État fantoche. Les solutions territoriales à la question chypriote sont examinées. Une réunification à l'allemande est-elle possible pour cette île otage?
