Autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathy (AAG) is an acquired reversible neuroimmunologic disorder of autonomic ganglia in the sympathetic, parasympathetic, and enteric nervous systems. Antibodies specific for ganglionic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (gAChRs) impair fast synaptic transmission between preganglionic and postganglionic neurons.1
