Abstract Infrarot‐ und Schwingungszirkulardichroismus‐Spektren (vibrational circular dichroism, VCD) eines chiralen Amin‐Borans in Lösung werden diskutiert. Durch Vergleich experimenteller und berechneter Spektren kann erstmals die Bildung von durch Diwasserstoffbrücken gebundenen Dimeren in Lösung nachgewiesen werden. Die VCD‐Banden der Dimere zeigen eine hohe Empfindlichkeit für die Bindungstopologie der Diwasserstoffbrücken, so dass detaillierte Strukturinformationen abgeleitet werden können. Weiterhin kann gezeigt werden, dass das Diwasserstoffbrückennetzwerk in Lösung und im kristallinen Zustand unterschiedlich ist.
