Horizon informationnel sur la formation et le travail chez de jeunes adultes non diplômés en situation de précarité

Abstract
Dans un contexte de raréfaction de la main-d’oeuvre qualifiée, les jeunes adultes non diplômés (JAND) constituent une population faisant l’objet d’une attention soutenue de la part des acteurs institutionnels. Leur processus d’insertion professionnelle est donc abondamment documenté, en particulier sous l’angle des sphères de vie. Une autre manière d’étudier leur insertion consiste à y identifier le rôle de l’information sur la formation et le travail, angle d’autant plus pertinent dans une société dite de l’information. Cet article propose une analyse secondaire de données collectées auprès de JAND du Québec (n=22). Les principaux constats montrent que ces JAND privilégient fortement les sources d’information relationnelles et qu’une interaction étroite semble se dégager entre leur parcours biographique, les transitions rencontrées et le type d’information recherché.
