Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the contrast sensitivity curves of sine-wave gratings with spatialfrequencies of women diagnosed with breast cancer compared to healthy women. The contrast threshold wasmeasured using a temporal two-alternative forced choice psychophysical method. The results showed that all ofthe participants in the experimental group displayed lower contrast sensitivity for all tested frequencies thanthose in the control group. The results suggest that the use of chemotherapy drugs can alter the visual perceptionof sinusoidal grade stimuli.
