Abstract
L'Organisation mondiale de la sant (OMS) coopre avec de nombreux partenaires dans la mise en oeuvre de ses programmes, notamment d'autres organisations intergouvernementales, des gouvernements, des ONG, des fondations et des entreprises du secteur priv but lucratif. L'volution de l'OMS a t marque par la Dclaration d'Alma-Ata de 1978 sur les soins de sant primaire, en reconnaissant que les progrs de la sant publique taient en partie tributaires de la qualit et de l'accs aux mdicaments. L'importance croissante des partenaires de l'OMS est mise en vidence par le fait que le fi nancement de l'Organisation, initialement fourni essentiellement par ses tats membres, est maintenant assur aux trois quarts par des contributions volontaires offertes par des partenaires des secteurs publics et privs, destines des programmes spcifi ques, avec un risque de perte de contrle des organes directeurs de l'OMS.
