Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We have recently reported a novel design method which allows the direct frequency domain design of two-band nonuniform-band maximally decimated filter banks. In this contribution, the basic idea is extended to the design of a more general and complicated class of filter banks, i.e., the filter banks having arbitrary number of bands and arbitrary rational decimation ratios. The perfect reconstruction conditions are given and the almost-perfect reconstruction is achieved by the numerical design of the filters in the filter banks.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
