Considéré sous l’angle de la façon dont peuvent naître les objets touristiques, c’est un ouvrage passionnant que nous livre Bruno Sarrasin, professeur à l’Université du Québec à Montréal. Issu d’une thèse de science politique complétée, ce livre, malgré son titre, n’est consacré ni à l’environnement, ni au développement, ni au tourisme, mais, à la charnière des trois, à la façon dont tout un système d’acteurs est parvenu à faire reconnaître, sur deux décennies environ, l’écotourisme comme outil présumé majeur de développement.
