Abstract
L’enjeu de cet article est d’analyser les stratégies de localisation basées sur les ressources, dont l’objectif est moins l’exploitation d’un avantage spécifique détenu ex ante par la FMN que l’activation de nouvelles ressources sur un territoire étranger. Il vise à caractériser le choix de localisation de l’investissement étranger qui s’appuie sur cette stratégie. Les propositions de la recherche sont confrontées à l’analyse de 92 projets orientés vers la France dans le secteur des TIC. Les résultats témoignent de la spécificité de cette stratégie qui suppose de la FMN une capacité à activer les ressources en local au sein d’un réseau de proximité.
