Abstract
Les «nouvelles techniques de reproduction» (NTR) sont assez largement condamnées par les féministes françaises. Leurs conséquences sont capitales : elles mettent en cause la notion de maternité, le biologique comme destin et la métaphore reproductive. Beaucoup y voient une atteinte à l'identité collective des femmes et une aliénation à la médecine. Cependant, si les femmes en acquièrent la maîtrise décisionnelle, ces pratiques accroissent les possibilités personnelles de choix de vie et subvertissent les assignations de sexe liées aux contraintes corporelles. Leur refus global n'empêche pas leur existence, mais seulement leur contrôle dans une perspective féministe.
