Abstract
Cet article propose deux aspects différents du concept de besoin en éducation : l’aspect interne et l’aspect externe. Ces deux aspects sont développés à partir de considérants relatifs aux variables en jeu dans le processus d’enseignement/apprentissage, aux critères pour en vérifier l’efficacité ainsi qu’aux éléments que l’on retrouve habituellement inclus dans la définition du mot « besoin ». De plus, on y retrouve une description, puis une comparaison des variables en jeu dans les deux types de besoins. Puis finalement, on y propose différentes décisions à prendre selon que les données générées proviennent d’une identification de besoins internes ou d’une identification de besoins externes.
