Abstract
L’auteur reprend la question posée par L’énoncé de politique des trois Conseils. Éthique de la recherche avec des êtres humains , plus particulièrement en ce qui a trait à la recherche avec les peuples autochtones : que peut donc vouloir dire « chercher avec » lorsque les chercheurs proviennent d’une culture autre que celle de la communauté autochtone? L’article démontre comment l’incorporation de l’anthropologue dans le monde autochtone conduit à des questions éthiques nouvelles. Les concepts de culture et de croyance chez Spiro permettent d’analyser cette expérience d’incorporation et de mettre en lumière les conditions d’une compréhension mutuelle entre Amérindiens et anthropologues.
