Abstract
El presente trabajo, que se enmarca dentro del estudio de los cambios en la gramática del español, se ocupa de la historia de los indefinidos compuestos, y más en concreto de la interposición (qual manera quier) en español medieval, estructura heredada del latín. Tras una descripción de los indefinidos compuestos, se da a conocer la distribución del fenómeno por tipo de texto, sustantivo que figura interpuesto, preposición que rige y conjunción que acompaña. Basado en datos del corpus alfonsí, el estudio se complementa con datos de otros corpus y revisa lo sucedido con otros compuestos y en otras lenguas.
