Abstract
La aplicacion de las tecnicas laparoscopicas a la cistectomia radical constituye una evolucion reciente y natural del exito de las aplicaciones laparoscopicas en cirugia renal y prostatectomia. El registro internacional en curso de los autores comprende mas de 700 casos de 14 paises. La mayoria de las intervenciones de cistectomia radical laparoscopica (CRL) se practican empleando la tecnica laparoscopica convencional, siendo una minoria los procedimientos asistidos con la mano o con robot. Este articulo trata de ofrecer una perspectiva general del estado actual de la CRL, con detalles tecnicos, modificaciones y resultados de las diversas tecnicas descritas por el grupo de los autores y otros grupos.
