Abstract
Cet article rend compte d’observations réalisées auprès d’adolescents, scolarisés dans des institutions dédiées aux élèves reconnus en échec dans le cursus normal du Collège. L’analyse des pratiques enseignantes met en évidence la difficulté à maintenir les conditions d’un progrès cognitif pour tous. Ce travail aborde la question de la transposition du concept de tutelle (Bruner, 1983) dans un cadre scolaire. Quelle(s) théorie(s) de référence pour décrire et comprendre le travail de l’enseignant et l’appréhender dans ces aspects « critiques » ?
