Abstract
A two-dimensional variable Yee's mesh algorithm with reduced grain size is proposed for the full-wave analysis of arbitrarily shaped guided wave structures. The method includes losses and allows the frequency selective application of the finite-difference time-domain method. The continuously variable mesh size in the x- and y-direction makes it possible to resolve partially fine circuit structures in both dimensions, while in other circuit sections a coarse mesh size can still be used.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
