Abstract
Cet article se propose de mettre en évidence l’actualité d’un classique de la littérature anticolonialiste, à savoir Discours sur le colonialisme d’Aimé Césaire. Il rappelle dans un premier temps quelques-uns des enjeux principaux du livre de Césaire. Dans un deuxième temps, il met en perspective dans quelle mesure l’oeuvre s’avère encore pertinente face à la réalité des rapports actuels entre l’Occident et l’Afrique. En conclusion, les auteurs en viennent à la question de savoir ce qui résulte de ce diagnostic pour l’Afrique d’aujourd’hui et les démarches à faire afin de bâtir un meilleur avenir.
