A fast wavelet transform (FWT) is applied to obtain highly sparse moment-method matrix equations from an integral equation formulation of the electromagnetic wave scattering by conducting bodies of revolution. These equations are solved by the generalized minimal residual (GMRES) method and numerical experiments are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed solution technique.
