Abstract
Cet article consiste à situer la théorisation de la « consubstantialité des rapports sociaux » (Kergoat, 1978-2012) au regard des tensions qui traversent actuellement la réflexion sur l’articulation des systèmes d’oppressions. Prenant acte d’oppositions persistantes dans le champ de « la recherche intersectionnelle », il montre en quoi le concept de « consubstantialité des rapports sociaux », en raison du contexte dans lequel il s’enracine, se démarque d’autres cadrages existants. D’une part, il envisage l’imbrication des différentes oppressions depuis une compréhension dynamique des rapports de pouvoir. D’autre part, il se rattache au bagage théorique issu du féminisme matérialiste qu’il propose de retravailler plutôt que d’écarter les notions clés de l’héritage marxien que la vague culturaliste tend à évacuer. C’est finalement l’efficacité et l’actualité sociologique de cette conceptualisation des rapports de pouvoir et des relations qu’ils entretiennent les uns avec les autres qui sont mises en évidence ici.
