Abstract
Cette étude explore comment des enseignantes soucieuses d'offrir la meilleure formation possible à leurs élèves peuvent réfléchir sur leur action et expérimenter à leur gré des moyens pour favoriser l'engagement actif et la responsabilisation des danseurs dans leur processus d'apprentissage, sans bouleverser l'écologie de classes d'entraînement technique. Deux professeures de danse ont pris conscience de leurs croyances, ont expérimenté divers moyens puisés dans leur répertoire et ont observé les réactions de leurs élèves. Cette phase de sensibilisation leur a permis de prendre conscience de leurs possibilités et de leurs limites. Elle constitue une structure d'accueil à partir de laquelle des stratégies plus formelles de responsabilisation des étudiants pourraient être établies.
