Abstract
Les changements systémiques en cours depuis 1989 en Europe de l’Est ont donné des résultats contradictoires, selon les pays, les régions et les couches sociales. Le concept de «transition» a souvent été utilisé pour justifier implicitement un modèle particulier d’arrivée, néolibéral. La Pologne a souvent occupé dans ces analyses le rôle de «bon élève», mais les comparaisons de la situation de ce pays avec d’autres pays sortant de régimes dictatoriaux permettent de nuancer les visions téléologiques couramment développées.
