Abstract
Partant de l’hypothèse selon laquelle la sociologie des réseaux offre un cadre théorique plus apte que celui du champ littéraire à l’étude des relations concrètes entre écrivains, nous explorons quelques notions qui, issues de l’analyse des réseaux, offrent un grand potentiel heuristique, dont celles de capital social, de centralité et d’autonomie structurale. Ainsi, le cas des relations entre André Laurendeau et La Relève montre que le premier fut central dans le réseau de la revue, sans jamais y être considéré comme membre à part entière. L’identification de cette centralité extérieure dévoile en retour une caractéristique du travail de sociabilité de Laurendeau, qui noue constamment des liens entre groupes, en se dotant par le fait même d’une autonomie sans égal dans le milieu intellectuel canadien-français de l’époque.
