Abstract
Cette étude s’intéresse aux « livres blancs » des États-Unis produits pour la « guerre contre la terreur » ( War on Terror ) afin de décoder la nouvelle cartographie du Pentagone qu’on retrouve dans la stratégie de sécurité nationale déposée au Congrès en septembre 2002 et dans la stratégie militaire nationale des États-Unis de mai 2004. Cet article s’efforce de montrer comment certains discours géopolitiques apparemment contradictoires dans la stratégie discursive générale états-unienne de politique étrangère – la vision géoéconomique néolibérale globaliste et le discours géopolitique néoconservateur nationaliste – relèvent d’une même base idéologique et logique idéographique de la terreur. L’intention ici est de poser un regard critique vis-à-vis des pratiques cartographiques de l’administration Bush à travers le régime discursif de la « guerre contre la terreur » et de les réinscrire dans le contexte de la mondialisation néolibérale.
