Abstract
Depuis les années 60, le droit contractuel de la consommation a su se développer en marge du droit commun et cultiver sa spécificité tant sur le plan normatif, par ses sources, que sur le plan matériel, par son domaine d’application. La spécificité du droit de la consommation tend toutefois maintenant à se résorber. Le phénomène de « dilution » du droit de la consommation se constate d’abord par l’influence que celui-ci a eue sur le droit commun, lequel est maintenant teinté de règles d’origine consumériste, puis, par l’émergence, dans le droit commun, du contrat d’adhésion, catégorie parallèle et plus étendue de protection du contractant vulnérable. Ce sont ces deux traits successifs qui font l’objet du présent texte.
