Abstract
Cet article porte sur les stratégies préventives utilisées par 84 femmes et hommes séropositifs. Son originalité est qu’il revoit la prévention à partir des concepts de l’interactionnisme symbolique s’intéressant à la sexualité et des principes de l’autodétermination et de la dialectique personne/environnement. Les résultats de la recherche révèlent que les stratégies préventives s’articulent à travers une diversité de pratiques et de situations. De plus, les concepts utilisés peuvent contribuer au renouvellement de la prévention dans le domaine du VIH-sida. Cela est d’autant plus pertinent que cette problématique, actuellement moins médiatisée, demeure toujours aussi présente dans le quotidien des personnes.
